Ena Bradley and Jeanette Daly are passionate quilters and the founders of Ragbags Recycled Fabrics.
In 1999, we began our home industry because we loved fabric,
especially soft, washed and previously used fabric, fabric with its own history.
All our work is done using our own
FOUND FABRICS

  • We loved the idea of returning to the old philosophy of patchwork and quilting.
  • We loved the environmentally sound nature of re-using fabric in a new project.
  • We loved the fabric chase.
We were based in North Yorkshire in England, living in neighbouring market towns.
We visited quilt groups , QuiltShows and Craft Fairs and met many wonderful quilters.

However after almost ten happy years of Ragbags Recycled Fabrics,
we have decided to hang up our rotary cutters and retire. The great thing, however, is that Ragbags will continue to be nurtured
by two equally passionate fellow sewers and recyclers:

Pamela Wales and Chris Tattersall of Suffolk.

They will be continuing to offer the same range of pre-washed and beautifully packaged fabrics
which we have supplied and they will also be adding their own new ideas to the mix.
We’d like to thank you all for your wonderful support wherever we’ve met you…at shows, groups and via mail order.

Please don’t stop using Ragbags for your sewing needs.
We are confident that Chris and Pam will offer you the same personal service.

The changeover will take place on August 5th and we will help with anything you need until then.
