From time to time, our customers delight us by showing us quilts made mainly with Ragbags fabrics. With their kind permission, we can, in turn, show you some of their work. If you would like one of your quilts featured, please email us.

Ladybirds Valerie Probert-Broster of Lewes made this lovely cot quilt using lots of Ragbags reds and creams. It now lives with its owner Jack in the USA. When Valerie was asked to make the quilt in these colours, she was concerned that they wouldn't be right for a cot quilt but I think everyone would agree that it's a looks really cheerful. Summer Starcat We made this variation on our Starcat Pillow because we had some lovely summery fabrics which we thought would work well with the design. You can adapt the kit by adding your own fabrics to those which come with the kit. We used 2 blocks across and 3 down and put fewer stars in the borders than the kit. February 2008

Amelia's Zebra Playmat Jeanette made this vibrant playmat for Ena's newest grandchild, Amelia. She used an old Kenyan beach wrap which had been a favourite of Amelia's daddy, Gareth, who designed the Ragbags website! Everyone's delighted with it, especially Amelia. Just finished in time for the Christening in January 2008

Dolls House Quilt Judith Ward from Northampton finished this beautiful little log cabin quilt just in time for Christmas 2007. It is made from a varied collection of our Liberty Tana Lawns and measures just 7½ inches square.

Our Thirsk Roadshow We had a wonderful day in Thirsk on Saturday March 10th. Almost 200 visitors came to enjoy exhibitions, demonstrations by Philippa Naylor not to mention shopping with us, Barnyarns and The African Fabric shop. Delicious refreshments were served by the Thirsk Mowbray Quilters. Look out for our next one in Scotland in June

Our Thirsk Roadshow Philippa Naylor demonstrating her award winning skills and Jeanette from Ragbags welcoming visitors.

Jenny's Ragbags Quilt Jenny Bradley from Scarborough made this very effective sampler style quilt using some of our larger scale prints coordinated with plain fabrics. With her excellent eye for colour she chose fabrics at a Scarborough Quilt exhibition and then brought the quilt to show us the following year.

Sean & Mandy's Quilt This double bed quilt made over a couple of years, was finished for Christmas 2006 for Jeanette's son and daughter-in-law. Jeanette made it using blue scraps gleaned from the Ragbags Cutting Room floor! It just shows what you can do with bits of fabric often discarded.
Finished (in the nick of time) December 06
